Hemsö’s shareholders make an additional equity injection of SEK 1.0 billion
Hemsö’s shareholders have decided to make an additional equity injection of SEK 1.0 billion to strengthen the capital structure and to finance Hemsö’s investments in new sustainable schools and nursing homes. The capital will be injected during the first quarter of 2024.
“A stronger capital structure and
liquidity position enables Hemsö to continue to support the public
sector in times of growing need for new social infrastructure. With this
capital injection Hemsö’s owners have since 2019 provided equity of SEK
5.0 billion which has enabled investments in mainly new development of
schools and nursing homes,” says Rutger Källén, Deputy CEO and CFO, at
Hemsö.
